During 2010, Master Woodcarver Ian Agrell is available to teach August 7th thru 13th
To aid in learning the classical woodcarving skill, upon enrollment, students will receive a complimentary carving training video.
Teaching is from 9a.m.to 5p.m and will be held at:
333 Ohio, Richmond, CA 94804.
We can assist you in finding accommodations in Marin County and organize transportations from there to the workshop.
Two Day Weekend Class - $395
Designed for students who wish to get started in wood carving. This practical weekend course will assist students in the control and use of chisels whilst concentrating on classical foliage. If you have studied with us before please contact Ian to discuss weekend classes. See also examples of student projects.

Five Day Weekday Class - $895
This 5 day course emphasizes the important skills necessary for professional woodcarving. These skills include efficient time saving techniques, a fast and accurate understanding of structure as well as the proper method of sharpening chisels For the first day and a half, each student will be working on the Acanthus leaf to gain a better understanding of these carving principles. For the remainder of the course you will be working, at your own pace, on projects of your choice. Therefore instruction is individual with each student. See also examples of student projects.
